Gonzo! at Betty Creek Gap North Carolina A rare picture of Gonzo! taken as he takes the weight off of his back and puts his weight on the pack as he reclines against it, eats a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich, and reads the guidebook description for the upcoming trail. Beside him to your right you can see the "extra" pair of boots that I carried just in case my old boots produced blisters like they did two years earlier. The extra boots were more lightweight, and were actually used occasionally when my older boots gave me any problems. |
