| Below are links to images of each page of
a 1983 Shelter register obtained from the Kinsman Pond Shelter in New Hampshire,
a few miles North of Moosilauke, in the White Mountains. The Register begins with
an entry by Section Thru-hiker Tom Sitz (1982-83), who left the register on July
14, 1983 and ends with an entry on August 6, 1983. The register originally contained
40 sheets, but now only has eight. Apparently the rest were torn out at some time
for some unknown reason. It seems as though the ones torn out were after the ones
that remain. This register was provided by Tom Sitz. To be legible,
some of the images are large in terms of internet usage, and may be a problem
for those using dialup connections. For others with faster connections, there
will probably be no problem. The names listed below are spelled as correctly as
could be decifered. If you find an error, please let me know. Question marks indicate
an unknown signer - either undecipherable signature or none at all. Front
